Head of People

Job Purpose
We are seeking an innovative and dynamic Head of People to lead our People & Culture function, reporting directly to the ExCo.
The purpose of this role is to ensure that:- Recognise Bank's organisational culture, people and talent strategy aligns with its mission and goals.
- This leader is both a strategic thinker and a hands-on team member who thrives in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a holistic People strategy that supports the company’s mission, values, and long-term objectives.
- Act as a trusted advisor to the leadership team, providing insights on organisational design, talent management, and culture.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire the People team to deliver exceptional service across all functions.
- Oversee end-to-end talent acquisition, ensuring the recruitment of top talent aligned with company needs.
- Design and implement programs for employee onboarding, development, and retention.
- Drive succession planning and leadership development initiatives to build a strong talent pipeline.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture that reflects the company’s values.
- Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives across the organisation.
- Develop strategies to measure and enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.
- Oversee the development and execution of HR policies, procedures, and compliance programs.
- Manage compensation and benefits strategies to ensure equity, competitiveness, and alignment with company goals.
- Leverage HR analytics to monitor key performance indicators and inform decision making.
Key Skills and Experience:
- 5+ years of HR leadership experience, including strategic planning, talent management, and employee engagement, preferably in a fast-paced or growth-oriented environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; CIPD Level 5 or higher preferred.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire teams.
- Expertise in HR best practices, diversity and inclusion initiatives, and employment law compliance.
- Proficiency in strategic planning, organisational design, and workforce development.
- Skilled in using HR systems and analytics to drive informed decision-making.
- Growth-oriented, adaptable, and committed to fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.

IT Support Engineer

Job Purpose
The IT support role works with key functions in the IT department to enable delivery of a high-quality service to end-users.
The purpose of this role is to ensure that:- The Recognise Bank technology estate runs smoothly and safely and is operationally resilient
- Any change-the-bank project deliverables have appropriate support in place for acceptance into service management
- Recognise IT Supplier Relationships are managed, tracked, and monitored from an Operational perspective
- Any Application, Service Delivery and Corporate Technology issues relating to Recognise Bank’s Production IT estate are dealt with swiftly and effectively as needed
Key Responsibilities:
End-User Support:
- Act as the first point of contact for IT-related issues, providing on-site and remote support to end-users.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and system issues.
- Guidance and training to users on IT systems and tools.
Ticket Management:
- Manage, prioritize,log, track and resolve support tickets in line with service level agreements (SLAs).
- Escalate complex issues to relevant teams or third-party suppliers when necessary.
Vendor Collaboration (OneMSP):
- Coordinate with OneMSP to address advanced technical issues or implement new solutions.
- Liaise with OneMSP for timely updates, issue resolution, and system maintenance.
- Monitor and review the performance of OneMSP, ensuring adherence to agreed service levels.
IT Systems Management:
- Assist in deploying and maintaining IT hardware, including desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
- Support software installation, updates, and troubleshooting.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and profiles using Active Directory and other tools.
Key Skills and Experience :
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience:
- 2+ years in an IT support role, with hands-on experience in end-user support and ticket management.
- Proven experience working with third-party IT vendors or managed service providers.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in troubleshooting Windows, MacOS, and Office 365.
- Familiarity with IT ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Zendesk, or similar).
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts and remote support tools.
- Exposure to Active Directory for user management.
Certifications (Preferred):
- ITIL Foundation, CompTIA A+, or Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator.

Savings Operations Analyst

Role and Responsibilities
Supporting the day-to-day management of third-party suppliers and deposit aggregators:
- Work collaboratively with our third-party supplier to understand, review and improve the direct customer journey across both the retail and business propositions.
- Manage all change requests through inception to completion liaising with internal and external stakeholders throughout.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement pricing changes, new product launches and taking products off-sale for both direct proposition and other funding channels and ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
- Champion continuous improvement through putting proposals forward that enhances our overall deposit proposition.
Customer Experience:
- Conduct thorough research and analysis to understand the end-to-end customer journey across various touchpoints.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, data, and customer support, to gather insights into customer interactions and pain points.
- Develop and manage comprehensive database of existing customers as well as targeting new customer segments.
- Develop a deep understanding of customer needs, preferences, and behaviours through data analysis and customer feedback (Trustpilot and complaint analysis).
- Create comprehensive proposals for improving the customer experience, addressing pain points, and enhancing satisfaction at each stage of the customer journey.
- Work closely with product teams to align proposed improvements with product development.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices related to customer experience, and incorporate innovative ideas into proposals.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, presenting proposals and progress reports to gain support for initiatives aimed at enhancing the customer journey.
Competitor and Market Analysis:
- Conduct daily competitor pricing analysis to track market trends and Recognise positioning, as well as deposit flows.
- Collect and analyse pricing data from various sources, including competitor websites, Moneyfacts reports, and industry publications.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to understand customer preferences and market demands that may impact pricing decisions.
- Regularly update pricing databases and maintain accurate records of competitor pricing information.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations summarising findings from the competitor pricing and customer insights analysis.
- Monitor changes in the competitive landscape and industry trends to proactively recommend pricing adjustments and strategies.
- Abide by all financial crime related policies, procedures and reporting obligations applicable to the role
Key Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree.
- Desire to gain valuable experience in deposit operations management within the banking industry.
- Good knowledge of banking regulations and compliance related to deposit products is a plus.
Key Competencies:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and interface with customers.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in handling financial data.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic banking environment.
